John Dearing is a photo media artist living just outside Boston. He graduated from East Carolina University in 2005, with a BFA in Photography. After teaching for four years at Winthrop University, he migrated to the Frigid North to get a Master's degree at Lesley University. Having done that, he now searches for true meaning in life and plans to eventually own a dog. His collection of carnivorous plants is a source of considerable pride, considering that he can’t keep a cactus alive for more than a month.
